From the cast of "Bugsy Malone", 30 children who had showed huge commitment, maturity of attitude and keenness to continue their acting were selected to attend a Theatre Workshop. They spent 5 months working on Shakespeare's "Macbeth", performed as an actors and audience introduction to Shakespeare. The format was selected classic scenes which were then linked with modern narration. The second half of the programme was a play entitled "Just Kidding", a comedy written and performed by the group. There were four performances at the end of July with an overall 70% attendance by the public.
